Charlotte has a B.Sc. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and postgraduate diplomas in Hospital Dietetics, Herbal Medicine and Diabetes Management and runs both the Nutrition Centre and the Diabetes Clinic. Her additional qualifications include courses in FODMAPs through Monash University as well as integrated and comprehensive studies in DNA testing and the effects of diet on gene expression.
She brings over 40 years of experience in the field of nutrition into her practice. Her special interests include diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal diseases, sports nutrition and women’s health from motherhood to menopause.
Her vast experience enables her to give you the best possible solution to your dietary dilemmas. She strives to embrace the most current research, enabling her to provide the best possible solution to your nutritional management.
Charlotte maintains that there is no such thing as a ‘one-size-fits-all’ diet and emphasizes the necessity of finding a personalized eating plan that will suit your specific DNA profile, lifestyle, budget and physical abilities. Diabetes Care, Diet and Lifestyle education
Charlotte’s passion for the management of patients with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes knows no boundaries. She can advise on all aspects of diabetes care, including diet and lifestyle education, the most up-to-date medication, screening for complications, wound care and referral to appropriate specialists as/when the patient’s condition dictates. Many diabetic patients are unaware of the dangers of this chronic disease, should it not be properly controlled. Educating diabetic patients to help prevent complications and/or control the progression of complications is her speciality.
